We build shops two ways. A fully bespoke shop gives you a checkout, dashboard and fee structure designed for your business, the same approach as our Bespoke Website Design. If you want the familiar WordPress editor, we build WooCommerce stores through our WordPress Web Design service. We can build on Shopify too, but we will be honest about it: its monthly fees, app subscriptions and transaction charges add up as a shop grows, so for most businesses we recommend a bespoke shop you own outright.
Either way, product pages are set up for search from launch, and our SEO plans take it further once you are trading. Website Maintenance keeps the shop updated and backed up after that.

Asylum Coffee, a specialty roastery in Swindon, wanted a shop that could rank, convert and bring customers back, without handing a share of every sale to a platform on top of the card fee. We built it from scratch.
Subscriptions sit front and centre to turn one-off buyers into regulars, and a discounts engine handles offers. Payments run through Stripe only. A third-party shipping integration lets the team go from new order to printed label inside the site's own dashboard, and the fees on every order are lower than on their previous setup.
Your shop may sell across the country, but the build is run from our studio in Gorse Hill. Businesses in Swindon, Royal Wootton Bassett, Highworth, Chippenham, Marlborough and Cirencester can sit down with us in person to plan products, payments and delivery.
The process
What to expect when we build your shop
Our builds typically take one to eight weeks. Where a shop lands in that range depends on how many products you sell and which systems it has to connect to. The launch date is written into your quote.
- Scoping call. We go through your products, variants, delivery options, payments and anything recurring, then send a fixed quote.
- Shop design. Home, category, product, basket and checkout pages, designed and signed off before any code is written.
- Build and product load. We build the shop, connect Stripe and your shipping service, and load the catalogue.
- Test orders. We place real test orders from payment through to printed label, on phones and desktops.
- Launch and handover. The shop goes live and we walk your team through orders, products and discounts.
You pay a 50% deposit to start and the rest on launch. Functional faults in the first 30 days are covered by our warranty.
