Online triathlon coaching - fully client-editable WordPress build, tuned for Google Lighthouse and search.
The challenge
Phazon, a Swindon triathlon coaching business, wanted a site they could edit fully themselves without leaning on a developer - which meant WordPress. The catch: a typical WordPress build is heavy, slow and easy to overlook in search. The brief was to keep the editability and lose the baggage.
Our approach
Built on WordPress at the client's request so every page stays fully editable in-house. We then did the work WordPress rarely gets: Google Lighthouse optimisation across performance, accessibility and best practices, and on-page SEO so the coaching services are found by the athletes searching for them.
The results
A fast, search-optimised WordPress site the client updates himself - with the Lighthouse and SEO groundwork in place for rankings to keep improving over time.
